Yes

The placement process using these measures:
  1. Students may be placed directly into college-level courses if they have an un-weighted high school GPA of 2.6 or above and can demonstrate that they have taken four math classes in high school, including one math class for which Algebra II is a prerequisite.
  2. Students who do not meet the GPA requirement can submit their ACT/SAT scores to demonstrate readiness for college-level courses.
  3. Students who graduated from high school more than five years ago or who do not meet the GPA or ACT/SAT cutoff must take a placement test (NC DAP).
