The placement process using these measures:

The Maryland Community College Council of Presidents have set common cut scores on the Accuplacer, ACT, SAT,AP/IB tests and PARCC that colleges are expected to accept to place students in college level courses. Students accepted into dual enrollment programs are also considered college ready. However, these measures are not required to be used for placement across the community colleges.
