The placement process using these measures:

Meeting the cut score on any of the following measures will allow a student to register for college-level coursework:

  • Graduation from high school within the last four years and receiving a technical honors diploma, academic honors diploma or a CORE 40 diploma or equivalent with a cumulative GPA >2.6;
  • CLEP or DSST scores indicating college-level writing, reading and/or mathematics skills;
  • SAT scores within the last four years in reading, writing or math;
  • PSAT scores in the last four years in reading, writing or math;
  • ACT scores in the last four years in English, reading or math; or
  • ACCUPLACER scores in the last four years.
